Nur' Afifah or also known as Afi explores the intersection of folklore, memory, and transformation through new media and installation, re-contextualising cultural narratives into immersive experiences that blend traditional and contemporary forms.
With a background in film and theatre, Nur' Afifah has contributed to a range of creative productions, including Stor Atok, a Mediacorp Suria drama series, where she served in the art department. Currently pursuing a Fine Arts degree at NAFA, she continues to push the boundaries of interdisciplinary art, crafting immersive experiences that serve as vessels for collective memory. Her works were displayed at Ngee Ann Kongsi's Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam II (2025) and Kampung Halloween's Our Ghost? exhibition. Through her work, she invites audiences to rediscover the myths and monsters that shape our shared histories.
